Base conditions for using Smart Hub TV correctly
Smart Hub TV is access, organization, and playback software. It does not host content nor does it replace the user's obligations regarding rights, permissions, and policies of external services. These terms seek to make that framework clear.
Personal and authorized use
You must only connect content, accounts, and servers that you have the right to access and reproduce.
Third-party services
TMDB, Trakt, iCloud, Dropbox, Google Drive, Plex, and App Store govern their own rules and availability.
Limited license
The software is granted as a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for use in accordance with these terms.
1. Acceptance and scope
By installing, accessing, or using Smart Hub TV you accept these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with them, you must stop using the application.
These terms govern the use of the software, its optional integrations, and any additional service published by Smart Dev for this app.
2. License of use
Smart Dev grants a personal, limited, non-exclusive, revocable, and non-transferable license to use Smart Hub TV on compatible tvOS devices.
You are not permitted to copy, redistribute, sublicense, decompile, or commercially exploit the application unless expressly authorized in writing.
3. Responsibility over content and access
You are responsible for having legitimate permissions to access, index, and playback the content connected via SMB, WebDAV, SFTP, NFS, or other available integrations.
Smart Hub TV does not host audiovisual content nor does it verify the ownership of files, servers, shares, or accounts connected by the user.
4. Third-party integrations
The app may interoperate with services such as TMDB, Trakt, Apple iCloud, Dropbox, Google Drive, Plex, and App Store. Each is governed by its own terms, policies, quotas, and technical conditions.
Smart Dev does not guarantee permanent availability, absence of API changes, or operational continuity of third-party services.
5. Subscriptions, purchases, and Pro features
Certain capabilities may require a subscription or purchase within the Apple ecosystem. The price, period, renewal, and cancellation management are shown before confirming the purchase.
Applicable billing and refunds are processed according to Apple's rules and not directly by Smart Dev, unless stated otherwise in a specific offer.
6. Availability and compatibility
Smart Hub TV is designed for tvOS 17 or higher and depends on network connectivity, local permissions, and effective compatibility between format, protocol, and hardware.
Some features may degrade or become unavailable depending on the file type, server configuration, subtitles, credentials, or network status.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Smart Dev is not liable for data loss, service interruptions, unavailability of integrations, indirect damages, or improper use of the app by the user.
The user assumes the risk associated with connecting to their own or third-party infrastructure, including changes in configuration, credentials, and permissions.
8. Modifications, suspension and contact
Smart Dev may update these terms, introduce new features, restrict certain capabilities, or discontinue parts of the service when necessary for technical, legal, or business reasons.
